Flipping Out: The First 5 Chapters
James Patterson likes it. Michael Connelly likes it. Publishers Weekly likes it. And I think FLIPPING OUT just might be the best Lomax and Biggs yet.
But more important, what’s your opinion? Read it now. And please… let me know what you think.
Marshall posted on March 3, 2009 8:56 PMAny chance of the rest of the chapters making it on here? Didn't think so. It is almost cruel to leave us hanging like that. Loved the sample, have had book on order since cover art was released on Amazon. looking forward to reading the rest.
Thanks!
I need to read the rest NOW! I can't wait to read the rest.

Kelly Cummings posted on March 5, 2009 12:00 AMOh man, its going to be a long month waiting to get my hands on the rest of this book. The teaser chapters were freakin' awesome. Loved the guy banter in chapter 1 then the transition to serious in the next few. Thanks for the preview. Count me as another fan anxious for more !!!!
Mo posted on March 5, 2009 9:48 AMWell, Mr. Karp, I'm very disappointed and Flipping Out ---- ONLY 5 CHAPTERS? I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE REST!!!! Lomax & Biggs are off and running, again. Banters are flying off the wall with tip-top dialogue, the plot hasn't thickened yet, but I'm sure it will. Great Flipping story line! I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE REST!
Sam Mansfield posted on March 5, 2009 9:53 AMWhen I got the text late last night about the first 5 chapters being posted I wasn't sure I wanted to read them because I knew I would want the full book IMMEDIATELY...but of course my curiosity took over so I read them...and guess what? I WANT THE BOOK NOW!! LOL! Outstanding start Marshall!! I can't wait til March 31st!!
Jolene Johnson posted on March 5, 2009 1:47 PMHaving consumed the first five, I can honestly say the like a fine bottle of wine, the "bouquet" of Flipping Out leaves me with the anticipation of savoring the entire book... Oh screw that, I drink wine using the "chill it and kill it" method, and I want the rest of my Flipping Out NOW.

Betsy posted on March 8, 2009 3:20 PMLooks like another great book. My friend and I have read the two previous books and couldn't wait for Flippin' Out to be released. We love the banter between Lomax and Biggs and wish you could release a book-a-month.
Judy posted on March 8, 2009 4:19 PMOkay, you got me at Dante! Funny, suspenseful and literate--I can't wait to read more!
Mardee posted on March 8, 2009 7:55 PMCan't wait to get the book! Of course I'll start all over with chapter one and probably finish it in 3 days. LOL. Love Lomax & Biggs and all their stuff!
Darlene posted on March 9, 2009 10:49 AMExcellent, as usual. And you didn't even have to hold a gun to my head like you did James Patterson. :) Honey, you are in the same league as Paterson, Robert B. Parker and the rest of the cream of the crop. Keep cranking them out.
nancy posted on March 9, 2009 7:58 PMIt is totally unfair of you to hang a carrot in front of me, but out of reach. Now I have to wait until the end of the month to find out what happens and read all the ins and outs and twists and turns in this great story you have woven. Sounds like another great one. Thanks for sharing.
Ellen posted on March 10, 2009 12:28 PMSo far it is great. Can't wait to read the entire book.
Carole Vinnik posted on March 11, 2009 10:27 AMYou suck. I've got Facebook, blogging, now Twitter, and oh, yes, a job and somewhere in there are some actual junior humans who rely on me for existence. Exactly how much more crack do you think I can handle, Mr K?
For anyone else who's wondering wtf is up with the biatch with the attitude: you don't actually suck. In fact, you so don't suck that you um... blow? Wait, that's not better (Now, why isn't that better? That's like flammable = inflamable)
Preordered. I'll stop now.
Harmzie posted on March 11, 2009 8:01 PMHa! I just reviewed this whole book and I am tempted to stick out my tongue and go neener neener neener, at all the people who have to wait for its release. The rest of the book is just as fabulous as the first 5 chapters...
Now Marshall please get back to writing your next book.

PS: I just sold another of my members on your series.
Dianne posted on March 12, 2009 5:45 PMSaw the link on booksandchat.com and read the 5 chapters. Wow. I've got go buy some new books. Can't wait to read the rest of this one.
Cathy posted on March 15, 2009 4:31 PMGood lead in! The first chapter was very arch (1. playfully roguish or mischievous) and ending each chapter with a "punch line" (per NCIS) with a seque to the next is a nice hook...
You would probably love this piece of trivia...your first copy has been order by the Mid-Hudson Library system by the Millerton branch. They are very literary there!
Looking forward to the rest of the mystery...and its denouement!
