YOU CAN STOP LOOKING FOR ME

Marshall%20milk_carton%20beige.jpg

Have you noticed I’ve been missing?

Ignoring you. All caught up in my own petty little crap, like a grueling 30-day blog tour, and racing the clock to finish my next book.

Well, the tour is over.

The first draft was turned in.

And now I’m back.

The first post out of the box is an interview with Gregory Huffstutter at Buzz, Balls & Hype. Gregory is in advertising, and when he’s not busy with his day job, his toddler, and his newborn, he’s writing novels, and interviewing Old Ad Guys in their latest incarnations. I’m not sure if I qualified because he likes my books or he heard I have handrails on my computer.

Having finally delivered my new book after 9 months of writing, I’m going through that inevitable hormonal reaction — Post Artum Depression. But I’ll be blogging as soon as I answer my emails and clean up my desk.

Hmmm… I found some holiday cookies at the bottom of the pile. Green Christmas trees. Also, green Santas, green elves, and green angels.

There you have it — that’s my excuse for not writing. What’s yours?

Let’s hear from you.

I was respecting your mad dash to the finish, collapse and recovery period. But if this is the green light to begin being obnoxious again... game on! ;-)

Mine? Totally intimidated by some old ad dude who may or may not read my stuff. As terrible as any excuse & trying to ignore it, but there it is.

There's a dozen more excuses, but maybe I'll work it into a post. Or a book.

Welcome back to the Land of the Living!

Both.

I loved Rabbit Factory and by interviewing Marshall, I hoped to pre-qualify for my eventual AARP Ad Guy membership card. You can get $3.99 salads at Souplantation with that, right?

Be sure to leave a comment at the end of the Buzz, Balls & Hype interview if you want to win a signed copy of "Flipping Out"!

I've been busy listening to The Rabbit Factory on audio! I totally loved it, and can't wait to start on Bloodthirsty. It just needs to get here already. Already have Flipping Out downloaded from Audible, but I don't want to skip ahead. It's quite tempting!!

Hi Marshall!

The good news is you're OK and I can stop looking for you...the bad news is you owe me for a 30 day search...I'll bill you $500 a day plus expenses, but you gotta cover the cost for all those milk cartons(the airbrushing on the photo on them ain't cheap!) I'm only charging you half my regular fee 'cause you're like family to me!

P.S. Congratulations on your success, Pally!

Johnny.
