THE BEST HUG EVER
My daughter Sarah wrote about the best hug she ever received.
It was on September 12, 2001, and I was fortunate enough to be on the other side of that hug.
It was a hug that could be deemed Oprah-worthy.
It was a hug that waited 36 hours to happen, yet it felt like the hug of a lifetime.
It was a hug that cost nothing, yet I would have given everything for.
It was a hug I have wished many nights I could have once more with my own father.
It was a hug that spoke all the world’s languages, and needed no translation.
It was a hug from which I never have, and never will, let go.

Can't even (and don't want to) imagine what that time must have been like... first waiting to hear, then waiting to see / hug. So glad it worked out well for your family.
